On Tuesday, April 26, the Program Committee will be presenting the 4th in the Food Theme Series – Food Community. This meeting will be held at Lawrence University – Warch Center beginning at 12:10 p.m. There will be a panel discussion with the following speakers and Karen Laws will be our moderator and Joy Perry will do a wrap up:
Jeff Clark, Lawrence University – SLUG Community Garden
Wayne Craig, Grassway Farms – Grass or Organic Farmer
Ken Buelow, Holsum Farms – Mega Farmer
If you plan to attend this meeting, please contact Kathy Dreyer so that we can let Lawrence know how many to expect for lunch.
Parking will be available at the Methodist and Presbyterian Churches located at the corners of Meade Street and College Avenue or a shuttle bus will be provided from the side door of the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel at 11:20, 11:35 and 11:55 a.m. Please contact Kathy if you would like to take the shuttle since space is limited.
