Hoops of Hope

Hoops of Hope is the world’s largest free-throw marathon. Similar to a walk-a-thon, participants raise awareness and funds for children who have been orphaned by HIV/AIDS by shooting free throws. 100% of all funds raised through our free throw marathons go directly to care for orphan children in highly affected areas. This year, participants from all over the world, will shoot thousands of free throws to represent the thousands of kids orphaned each day.

There will be a "Hoops of Hope for World Vision” event held on Saturday, April 30 from 9AM until 4PM. The fund raiser will be held in the McGuire Gym at the Appleton downtown YMCA located at 218 E. Lawrence Street. Fact sheets, sign-up/volunteer forms and donation forms can be found under the member / forms and documents pull-down above.

For additional information please see Lauren Devalk, Annie Cameron, or Erica Hamilton.
