Every year thousands of
area children grieve the loss of a parent, grandparent, a friend or loved one.
The Center for Grieving Children, a program of the Boys & Girls Clubs of
the Fox Valley, is a safe place for children, teens and their families to find
hope and healing through compassionate peer support, commemorative activities,
and support through the grieving process. Loris Damerow, Director of the Center
will provide a look into the process of childhood grief, the support provided
by the Center and information about other resources available in our region.
