ROTARY SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED

Each year our Rotary Club gives college scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are committed to community service and have a financial need. The selection process is rigorous.  Scholarship Committee members read close to 40 applications and narrowed the field, and then spent an afternoon interviewing the six top candidates.  Although all of the students were impressive, the committee selected Thomas Kelly from Appleton West, and Alaina Herron and Lauren Hoyer from Appleton North as this year’s scholarship recipients.  Each will receive $4,000 over a four-year period to assist them with their college costs.
